Design comes from an engraved neolithic bone disk. Carved ~16,000 years BCE (Magdalenian). Last two images are the bone disk which was carved from a scapula bone, likely of a deer or similar.
Top of the spindle/disk is a standing deer-like creature. Bottom of the spindle/disk is a running version of the same creature.
