Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Shropshire is a dual purpose breed, very difficult to felt, with great memory (it doesn't crease or compress easily) with high loft and good stitch definition. Shropshires are of uncertain origin, originally coming from Shropshire and Staffordshire in central western England. They are sweet tempered sheep that grow a lovely, lofty medium wool.  Very durable. Not scratchy, low lustre. Excellent for socks. This particular batch is soft enough for me for next-to-skin wear, though every person is different.
